Running Smoothly

The top priority of the Public Works Department is to keep Tonkawa infrastructure running smoothly while providing service to our residents. Whether it’s a sunny day or inclement weather, our service team members are dedicated to maintaining all levels of service and continued operation. My personal objective is to be proactive, not reactive, by improving operational efficiency.

Utility Services

Electric

Electricity is managed by the city and provided by public power. Read more about the benefits of public power.

Gas

Gas service is contracted by the city. Contact the city office at (580) 628-2508 to learn more.

Wastewater

Wastewater services are managed directly by the city. To report an issue, call (580) 628-2508.

Sanitation

Sanitation services run weekly and are managed by the city. To ask about pickup schedules, call (580) 628-2508.

Tonkawa Energy Services promotes energy efficiency alongside a number of programs that can lower your energy costs. To see if you qualify for any rebates or a free energy audit, contact our utility billing office: (580) 628-2508.
